    • CLASS RANK will be based upon the earned cumulative accumulation of quality points using the three-tiered weighted grading system. Class of 98-Four (4) year accumulation of fewer courses/higher quality point value and weight/higher grades=higher GPA and higher class rank. Class of 1998 and beyond-Four (4) year accumulation of more courses/higher quality point value and weight/higher grades=higher cumulative accumulation of quality points and higher class rank.

    • RANK-Class rank is a numerical representation of the academic standing for a student in the Neshaminy School District. It represents both quality and quantity of work completed during a student's academic career in grades nine through twelve. The calculation of rank will be determined by total earned quality points. Six major credit courses (as determined by the students), for the school year, plus health and physical education. All required courses taken during the school year will be counted toward rank. All courses taken in summer school (make up and enrichment), will count toward graduation credit, but will not be factored into class rank. Class rank will be calculated at mid-year and year end. Please note, the quality points used in determining class rank have been shown next to each course description as the total possible for that course with a grade of an "A" (5.0 qpts, 4.5 qpts, 4.0 qpts).
