    Winter Track & Field meets at the Fitness Center @ 2:30 and practice ends at 5pm. Athletes must be signed up on Family ID and have turned in a PIAA physical… or you must have it with you to attend practice.

    For those of you not familiar with Neshaminy indoor track, we compete mostly in meets run by the Track and Field Coaches Association of Greater Philadelphia. The Association is composed of high schools in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. The Association is totally operated by its member coaches. All member coaches are required to assist in officiating at the association meets.The events run in an indoor track and field meet vary from meet to meet. Events that may be "run" are:

    •     55/60 High Hurdles
    •     55/60 meter dash
    •     4 x 200 meter relay
    •     4 x 400 meter relay
    •     4 x 800 meter relay

    •     200 meters
    •     400 meters
    •     800 meters
    •     1600 meters
    •     3000 meters

    •     High Jump
    •     Pole Vault
    •     Long Jump
    •     Triple Jump
    •     Shot Put

       •     Distance Medley (1200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m)
       •     Sprint Medley (400m, 200m, 200m, 800m)
       •     Freshman/Sophomore 4 x 200, 4 x 400 or 4 x 800 meter relay

    st of our indoor meets are held on a Saturday at a college or university. These meets have 40 or more teams competing, and usually limit the entries per school in each event to ONE athlete or ONE relay.
