  • Title 1 / Federal Programs Meeting

    All parents and guardians are invited to a Federal Programs Overview / Title 1 Fall Parent Meeting at Maple Point Middle School on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:30 - 8 pm. This presentation wil provide valuable information on Federal program implementation and the Parent Engagement Policy.   • NHS in the running for a $100K Dream Big Grant

    Neshaminy HS Environmental Science Teacher James Maloney proposed a collaborative 'Greenhouse Classroom' project for the Farmers Insurance 100K Dream Big teacher grant competition. The project is one of fifteen finalists in the nation, and the only one in Pennsylvania. The public is invited to vote for their favorite proposal at the Dream Big website (one vote per email address per day until November 3). Let's make this happen for Mr. Maloney, collaborator Jacqueline Rippert and the students of Neshaminy High School!

  • New Principals appointed for Ferderbar, Tawanka

    At the September 25, 2018 School Board Public Meeting, two Principals were appointed to fill vacancies at Joseph Ferderbar and Tawanka Elementary Schools. Stephanie Washam will be the new Principal at Ferderbar, and Donald Palmer will become Principal at Tawanka, where he is currently serving as Acting Principal.   • #StandUp Neshaminy

    All families are encouraged to visit a new website,, created by a coalition of Neshaminy educators, parents, rehabilitation professionals and community members to fight the opioid epidemic and the stigma of addiction. This site offers help resources, prevention tips, informational videos and other vital information which will be updated frequently.

    Healthy meals are essential to learning! If your family could use help with your school meal costs, we encourage to apply for the Free & Reduced meal program. If you received benefits last year, you must apply again each year. Applications should be filled out online here or if you need assistance please contact Food Services at 215-809-6542.

    Guest Teacher Program

    The Guest Teacher program will also be offered each month from July through October. If you have a Bachelors degree and are interested in substitute teaching, please see the information here about these two-day seminars which provide training and emergency certification.
