Kindergarten Registration
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open. Families with a student who is entering kindergarten at Neshaminy can begin the process by visiting the registration website, www.neshaminy.org/register.
Pre-K Counts Registration
Neshaminy will once again be hosting several classrooms for the grant-funded Pre-K Counts program during the 2023-2024 school year. Families can apply now for this free, high-quality preschool program at www.neshaminy.org/pkc.
Special Education Plan 2023-2026
The Special Education Plan for 2023-2026 is now available for public review, beginning March 29, 2023.

Neshaminy HS Preschool Lab
Neshaminy High School Preschool Lab is accepting preschool applications for the 2023-2024 school year. Children must be four years old by September 1, 2023. The program is held 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) and there are both the morning and afternoon openings. School will begin mid-October and end in May. The cost for this program is $350. Lunch prices for the 2022-2023 school year can be found here. Information and application materials for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program can be found here. Families must apply for this program each school year to maintain eligibility.
Irene Boyle Senior Tax Assistance Program
Neshaminy School District is pleased to offer a tax rebate program to help offset the high cost of living for seniors on fixed incomes. For more information and an application, please visit the program web page.

Here Comes the Bus App
The free Here Comes the Bus app is now available for the entire District. You can track your student's bus using up-to-the-minute GPS data using the app, which is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be accessed on the web here.

Student Accident Insurance
Neshaminy does not carry medical insurance for students, but we are pleased to offer an optional low-cost group plan for those families that desire extra coverage. Click here for more information about this plan and how to register.

1:1 Technology Information
NEW students coming to Neshaminy and Kindergarten students will receive a new Chromebook device. There is no technology fee. READING OLYMPICS
On Wednesday, April 12th, Poquessing's finest traveled to Cecelia Snyder Middle School to compete with hundreds of other students from around the county in the Battle of the Books Reading Olympics Competition. Our middle school team of 7th and 8th graders fought valiantly and offered NO MERCY to their foes as they brought home the BLUE RIBBON of VICTORY!!! Congratulations to all!
On Wednesday, April 19th, Poquessing's finest traveled to Neshaminy High School to compete with hundreds of other students from around the county in the Battle of the Books Reading Olympics Competition. Our elementary school level team of 5th and 6th graders were prepared and focused as they conquered question after question to earn the BLUE RIBON OF VICTORY!!! Congratulations to all who participated in this great celebration of books and reading!

NESHAMINY HIGH SCHOOL COLOR GUARD
The Neshaminy High School Color Guard is seeking new members for the 2023-2024 season to perform with the award winning Neshaminy High School Marching Band. The Color Guard is the most visual section of the marching band, performing choreography with dance, flags, rifles and sabres to compliment the marching band show. No previous experience is necessary as all skills required will be taught during the clinic sessions. Interested students in grades 8-11 can attend sessions on March 21.28; April 11; May 5, 12 and 19. All sessions are 6PM to 8PM. Students should meet at the NHS auditorium. Come out to see what Guard is all about. Contact Mr. Lipton in the NHS music department with questions or for more information.

ATHLETICS: Sports Physicals
Seventh(7th) and eighth(8th) grade students are permitted to tryout for sports(fall, winter and spring). ALL althletes MUST have a current physical BEFORE he/she may tryout! Complete the entire form below. The physical must be dated no earlier than June 1, 2022. The physician completes page 6.

ATHLETICS: FAMILYID
Poquessing Middle School is now using FamilyID as our sports registraton program! When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. Please follow the instructions below to register your student athlete. Please have your athlete hand the original physical to their Coach or Mr. Salmi. We will NOT accept an email version.
You must log into FamilyID and fill out appropriate sections to be able to participate in a sport. Each sport season it must be updated with the new sport your athlete is playing.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link:

Follow these steps:
- To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
- Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
- Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
- You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
- Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
- Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
- Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
- Review your registration summary.

POQUESSING FOOD PANTRY
The Poquessing Food Pantry is currently open and accepting donations. Gift Cards are the most useful. Increments should be $25 or less. The following physical items are always appreciated: peanut butter, jelly, snack/breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, pancacke mix, pancake syrup, rice, macaroni and cheese, ketchup/mustard, fruit cups/cans, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snack items, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dental floss and mouth wash. Families in need of supplemental assistance may reach out to Mr. Hunt directly at THunt@neshaminy.org. All requests are strictly confidential.
