  • PSSA / Keystone Test Dates

    The annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA) and Keystone tests will be administered in April and May. Below is assessment information and dates for 2024. Additional information for students and parents about the tests will be shared in the weeks before the test dates.

    NHS Preschool Laboratory

    Registration for the Neshaminy HS Preschool Laboratory is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. Visit https://www.neshaminy.org/Page/1596 for more information about this unique part-time preschool program for 3 and 4-year-olds born before 2/28/2021.

    Here Comes the Bus App

    The free Here Comes the Bus app is now available for the entire District. You can track your student's bus using up-to-the-minute GPS data using the app, which is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be accessed on the web here.

    Student Accident Insurance

    Neshaminy does not carry medical insurance for students, but we are pleased to offer an optional low-cost group plan for those families that desire extra coverage. Click here for more information about this plan and how to register.

    1:1 Technology Information and Staff Help

    NEW students coming to Neshaminy and Kindergarten students will receive a new Chromebook device. There is no technology fee. Below are links to 1:1 Technology information and forms:

    The JV Baseball game vs. Sandburg on 5/15/24 is cancelled.

    Track and Field practice is cancelled for 5/15/24 due to field conditions.

    Attention all BASEBALL players:  There will be NO practice today, 5/15/24, due to the weather and field conditions.  BOTH teams, JV and Varsity will practice tomorrow

    Any 8th grader interested in trying out for the high school field hockey team in August - there will be a mandatory meeting, Wednesday, May 22nd at 7PM. The meeting will be held in the bleachers on the multipurpose field at the high school.  A player and a parent must attend.  Any questions, please email Coach Pinto at jpinto@neshaminy.org.

    Our Team had a great start to their break at the Pennsylvania FPS competition.

    The team of Savannah Donat, Maiia Khimich, Maya Kopansky and Kriti Sunkara finished 3rd in the competition.

    The 6th grade team of Patrick Donahue, Anushka Tailor, Ellie Heine and Camryn Mocarski got first place for their skit.  They also finished second in the 4th-6th grade competition proper and have been invited to compete at Internationals from June 5th -9th at Indiana University.

    Congratulations to these talented students on their performance, capping off months of hard work and preparation!

    Any 8th grade athlete that is interested in trying out for the high school field hockey team in the fall, please plan on attending training sessions on the following Wednesdays from 5:30PM to 7PM in the stadium at the high school: April 17th and 24th, and May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, and June 5th.  Any questions, please email Jamie Pinto at jpinto@neshaminy.org

  • ATHLETICS: Sports Physicals

    Seventh(7th) and eighth(8th) grade students are permitted to tryout for sports(fall, winter and spring). ALL althletes MUST have a current physical BEFORE he/she may tryout! Complete the entire form below. The physical must be dated no earlier than May 1, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. The physician completes page 6.

    Poquessing Middle School is now using FamilyID as our sports registraton program!  When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile.  Please follow the instructions below to register your student athlete.  Please have your athlete hand the original physical to their Coach or Mr. Salmi.  We will NOT accept an email version.

    You must log into FamilyID and fill out appropriate sections to be able to participate in a sport.  Each sport season it must be updated with the new sport your athlete is playing.


    A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link: 


     Follow these steps:

    1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
    2. Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
    3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
    4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
    5. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
    6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
    7. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
    8. Review your registration summary.

    The Poquessing Food Pantry is currently open and accepting donations.  Gift Cards are the most useful.  Increments should be $25 or less.  The following physical items are always appreciated: peanut butter, jelly, snack/breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, pancacke mix, pancake syrup, rice, macaroni and cheese, ketchup/mustard, fruit cups/cans, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snack items, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dental floss and mouth wash.  Families in need of supplemental assistance may reach out to Mr. Hunt directly at THunt@neshaminy.org.  All requests are strictly confidential.
