  • Poquessing's Technology 1:1 Initiative

    As Neshaminy School District continues to provide technology to its middle school students, all 5th and 8th grade students will receive a new Chromebook for the 2018-2019 school year.  The devices are take home devices.  Students in 6th grade will receive their Chromebooks from last year and 7th grade students will continue to use iPads.  New 6th and 7th grade students will receive appropriate devices as well.

    A required ONE TIME non-refundable usage fee of $30.00 (maximum of $90.00 per family with multiple students) for each NEW device will be collected for Accidental Damage Protection (ADP).  Only cash, money order or online payment is accepted.  NO CHECKS, PLEASE!

    In keeping with changes to Pennsylvania la, the Neshaminy School Board has adopted an updated attendance policy which takes effect starting with the 2018-2019 school year.  A letter describing this policy can be found below:

  • Sports Physicals

    Seventh(7th) and eighth(8th) grade students are permitted to tryout for sports(fall, winter and spring). ALL althletes MUST have a current physical BEFORE he/she may tryout! The physical must be dated no earlier than June 1, 2018.

  • #StandUp Neshaminy

    All families are encouraged to visit a new website, www.standupneshaminy.org, created by a coalition of Neshaminy educators, parents, rehabilitation professionals and community members to fight the opioid epidemic and the stigma of addiction. This site offers help resources, prevention tips, informational videos and other vital information which will be updated frequently.

    Healthy meals are essential to learning! If your family could use help with your school meal costs, we encourage to apply for the Free & Reduced meal program. If you received benefits last year, you must apply again each year. Applications should be filled out online here or if you need assistance please contact Food Services at 215-809-6542.

    The Guest Teacher program will also be offered each month from July through October. If you have a Bachelors degree and are interested in substitute teaching, please see the information here about these two-day seminars which provide training and emergency certification.
