The Neshaminy Bowling Team is the competitive coed varsity bowling program of the Neshaminy School District, competing in the Suburban One League (SOL) in the Philadelphia suburb of Langhorne, Bucks County.

The bowling team welcomes boys and girls in grades 9-12. Contact Mr.Ratcliffe and Mr.Tisone if any further questions. Our emails are on the home pages for the boys and girls team!
Matches are conducted in accordance with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) High School Bowling Program and the SOL bi-laws.

The team welcomes new bowlers each year regardless of experience or skill level.

Tryouts will be announced by November 1 of each school year.  Tryouts will be held on the first available day of the season as assigned by the NHS Athletic Department.  Try-outs are held over two days. The coach will note your regular game scores as well as a game designed to test your spare shooting. Those scores along with the coach’s observations will determine who makes the team. Attitude, technique and experience are the biggest factors considered when determining a cut. The teams will be limited to 15 bowlers each (15 boys and 15 girls); 5 Varsity, 10 JV, but a bowler may be moved from Varsity to JV depending on the needs of each match.

Practices will be held at Penndel Lanes Monday through Friday (3:00-4:30pm) throughout the season as scheduled by the coaches.

Competitions will be held Monday through Friday with warm-up starting at 2:50pm and the match starting promptly at 3:00pm. Bowlers are expected to dress appropriately, whether at practice or during competition. Team shirts and the appropriate slacks are required for competition.
