Neshaminy High School Marching Band
Adviser: Mr. Pettis
The Neshaminy High School Marching Band is one of the largest organizations at the high school and has a long history of excellence in performance. The Redskin Marching Band numbers approximately 130 members. This ensemble rehearses outside of the school day starting with two weeks of band camp at the end of August and then Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from September through early November.
This award winning ensemble performs at all Neshaminy football games, various community events and parades. In addition, the Marching Band enters five to 7 festivals / competitions each fall and performs on the Instrumental Music Department Trip. Students must schedule either the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band or 9th Grade Band class to be a part of the Marching Band.
