• If you plan to participate in NCAA college athletics it is important that you register with the NCAA eligibility center.  This should be done early in your high school career in order to make sure that you are on the correct academic track to be eligible upon graduation.

You MUST tell your coaches and counselor (as early as possible) that you are interested in playing a college sport.

Early registration helps student-athletes avoid pitfalls that could delay their academic or amateur certification.  The cost is $65.00 and a one time only fee.  If you qualify for fee waivers for the ACT/SAT you may also qualify for a fee waiver for NCAA Registration.

The NCAA is the National Collegiate Athletic Association. It is responsible for overseeing 23 collegiate sports and championships and enforcing NCAA determined rules and procedues in order to ensure fair and safe practice. The web address is www.eligibilitycenter.org. You can register online and find more information about the NCAA at this website.
