     Board officer nomination information

    In keeping with the bylaws of the Neshaminy Education Foundation, the NEF will hold an election of Board Officers on Monday, June 8 2020 either during an in-person meeting at Maple Point District Administration offices or online (should restrictions remain in place). Login information for a virtual meeting will be posted here. Nominations for officer positions will be accepted via email until 11:59 pm on Wednesday, May 27. All nominations should be emailed to Donna Moran-Griff (dmorangriff@neshaminy.org). Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:

    President

    Vice-President

    Secretary

    Treasurer

    Please note that the Neshaminy Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity and all positions are volunteer and unpaid. Please visit our contact page for current Board member and Officer information.

     Thanks to a 2017-2018 NEF grant, two second grade classes at Tawanka Elementary have been piloting the use of the Dreambox iPad app which promotes the building of individualized math skills and offers teachers valuable tools to identify areas of need.

     

      The Neshaminy Education Foundation, established in 1993, is an independent, nonprofit, community organization, developed through the Neshaminy School District Strategic Plan. The Foundation represents the Neshaminy community's pride, commitment, and enthusiasm for its schools. Volunteers working to enhance the education of Neshaminy students, comprise the Foundation board.
     
     
     Financial support for the Foundation is provided through Neshaminy Employee payroll deduction and through generous gifts and donations from individuals and groups as well as through fund-raising activities.
     
     

    What We Do

     
     
    The Neshaminy Education Foundation is designed to provide resources to our schools that are not otherwise provided within the school budget or from other sources.
     
     
    By using our economic resources to supplement and enrich the educational experiences of students in the District, the Foundation hopes to increase educational opportunities for all students. The Foundation hopes to increase educational opportunities for all students. The Foundation channels its resources towards strengthening our community's public schools.
