     Notification of District Closure from March 13 - April 30

    All Neshaminy schools will be closed from March 13, 2020 until at LEAST April 30, 2020. Please see the Neshaminy Coronavirus information page below for updates, resources and additional updates during this closure.

     

    Online Learning Logo

    Phase III of Online Learning begins Monday, April 13, 2020.

    This phase is mandatory for all students in grades K-12 and counts toward grade-level requirements.

    March 31: The latest Neshaminy Update District Newsletter has been posted and includes an important message from Superintendent Jones and other information about the COVID-19 closure and online learning. 

     

    March 30: To request an additional Chromebook, please fill out the online form found here. You will be contacted with a future date and time for pick-up.

     

    March 26: Need a Chromebook? The Chromebook Request Form can be found here. Please fill it out online and you will be contacted with instructions for when and where to pick up your Chromebook. Please limit one District Chromebooks per 2 students living in the same household.

  • April School Board Meetings

    The Neshaminy Board of School Directors announces the following public meetings for the month of April 2020. These meetings will be virtual meetings.  Information regarding connecting to the virtual meetings will be posted on Neshaminy.org/meetings on the evening of the meeting.

    • April 14 -- Public Work Session, Board of School Directors; 7:00 p.m.
    • April 21 -- Educational Development Committee Meeting; canceled
    • April 21 – Business Operations Committee Meeting; 6:30 p.m.
    • April 23 – Facilities & Planning Committee Meeting; 6:30 p.m.
    • April 28 – Regular Meeting, Board of School Directors; 7:00 p.m.  (originally scheduled for April 29)

  • Vaping: What you need to know

    The Neshaminy HS parent group SPIN hosted a valuable presentation on the dramatic rise in vaping product use among teenagers. Certified Prevention Specialist David Fialko presented the latest information about the health effects, marketing and prevelance of vaping. A video of the presentation can be viewed here.

  • Summer Stock Registration

    Registration for the 2020 Neshaminy Summer Stock theater program and Summer Instrumental Music Instruction program is now open. Please visit this website for information and registration forms.

  • Neshaminy adds two Pre-K Counts classrooms

    Thanks to the award of new grant money, Neshaminy is excited to add two new Pre-K Counts classrooms for the current 2019-2020 school year. This FREE program offers a quality pre-school program to qualified families (and the qualification guidelines are very generous). The new classes will meet at Walter Miller Elementary School in Levittown. For information and to apply please visit www.neshaminy.org/pkc.

  • Kindergarten registration now open

    Starting December 2, families can register their children entering kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year. The process can be started online by visiting the Neshaminy Central Registration site. Families are urged to register before March 1, 2020 to guarantee that their children will attend their neighborhood school.

  • Volunteer information (new procedures)

    All school volunteers must complete background checks to ensure the safety of our students and comply with Pennsylvania law. For new volunteers this process can take 2-4 weeks, so we encourage all potential volunteers to complete this process in advance to avoid being left out of field trips or in-school volunteer activities. Please visit the Neshaminy volunteer web page for more information on this process.
