Mrs. Schmidt has been teaching in the high school since 1997. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education from Temple University, she taught two years of summer school and served as a substitute for half a year before acquiring a permanent position at the high school. Mrs. Schmidt has a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from St. Joseph's University. When asked to summarize her teaching philosophy, she stated, "Because I teach math, I strongly believe that the quality of what I teach is more important than the quantity. To some degree we use math everyday in life and therefore need to know it well to use it!" The subjects that Mrs. Schmidt currently teaches with such a "quality" are Geometry, and Honors Geometry.  Mrs. Schmidt loves teaching, especially Geometry, and loves working with students!  She feels very blessed to be a teacher and to be working with the students at Neshaminy High School.
