Honors Accounting 3
Emphasis will be on analyzing financial statements and accounting records. Accounting methods, trend percentages, component percentages and ratios will be applied to interpret business activity and disclosure on financial statements. Course units will be Plant and Intangible Assets, Liabilities - notes payable, payroll costs and corporate bonds, Stockholders' Equity, Changes in Retained earnings, Statement of Cash Flows and Financial Statement Analysis.
Accounting 3 is also a Dual Enrollment course where students may earn three undergraduate credits from Gwynedd-Mercy University. These credits are transferable to other universities. The cost is $400 which is forwarded to Gwynedd-Mercy University.
