Course #8310 Grades: 10-12 Graphic Design II expands on the concepts taught in Graphic Design I, with the focus of the course shifting from print to electronic media. Students will expand their use of the Elements of Design and the Principles of Design, to solve more complex graphic design problems. More advanced features of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop are explored, and basic web design techniques are introduced. Additionally, the students will have the opportunity to produce a 3 or 4 color screen printing project, with registration. The course concludes with the students having a web based, electronic portfolio with all their work from Graphic Design I and Graphic Design II included. This course is recommended for all students who are considering a career in the Graphic Design Industry.Prerequisite: Graphic Design 1NOTE: With the approval of the instructor, students are permitted to take, and receive credit for, Graphic Design II again. Students who repeat the course develop an independent study program with the help of the instructor that mirrors an actual Graphic Design business venture.Graphic Design
