My name is Mr. James Maloney.  I am a proud graduate of Neshaminy High School (2003) and also a proud graduate of East Stroudsburg University.  Following my time at East Stroudsburg I completed my Masters in Education from Cabrini College.  Completing my Masters in Education was not enough for me as immediately enrolled and earned my Masters in Zoology from Miami University (Ohio).  I started working at Neshaminy at the beginning of the 2008-09 school year.

I enjoy spending every free moment outside in some way.  My hobbies include hiking and mountaineering, birding, swimming, volleyball, watching Philly sports, and photography.  I have hiked many miles along the Appalachian Trail, and have summited a few major mountains both on the East and West Coast with the most famous being, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen's, and Mt. Washington. I love to take my camera on all of my trips and I feel I take some really great pictures of the landscape and wildlife especially.  I have recently been bitten by the travel bug and through my graduate coursework I was able to visit Belize, Peru & the Amazon Rainforest, and Namibia.  All of these destinations were remarkable and I can't wait to keep travelling.  See Pictures Here!

At Neshaminy I am an active part of many different happenings.  I help out as a Gym Night Supervisor, help coach the volleyball team, work the scoreboard/announce various sporting events, and I organized and produced the Neshaminy Lip Dub video. You can often find me at proms and dances as a chaperone and attending many sporting events in my free time.

I love every aspect of science and I am glad to be working in Neshaminy.  I look forward to a fun and rewarding year and will try to keep everyone informed as much as possible on this website.
