Mr. Bursk is an artist who holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting from Tyler Art School and an Art Education Certificate from Temple University as well as a Masters of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from University of the Arts. Bursk, a 1992 Neshaminy graduate, began his first teaching job here in 1997. He chose teaching as his career because he wanted "to be involved with art and to work with young people." He has exhibited his art nationally at the Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago, The Texas Firehouse in NY, Seton Hall University in NJ and 110 Church street gallery in Old City Philadelhpia. He maintains a studio in Philadelphia and is active within the Philadelphia art community.
