Mrs. Luba grew up in Upstate New York, went to Syracuse University, and earned a BFA in Graphic Design from that school in 1985. She worked as a Graphic Designer in both Rochester, NY and Philadelphia before going back to school to study education. She received a Masters of Education in Art from Temple University/Tyler School of Art in 1990. Mrs. Luba began her teaching career here at Neshaminy in the fall of 1990. She taught art at the elementary level for ten years before moving to the high school in the fall of 2002. She chose to become a teacher because she wanted to work with people, especially young people. "I absolutely love their energy. I love helping them, watching them grow as artists, and getting to know them as individuals." Outside of school, Mrs. Luba likes to run, camp, hike, backpack, mountain bike and hangout with her two sons.
