With a long career of working with kids, Mr. Place loves his job. As a health and physical education teacher, he always likes to have fun with his students. While attending The College of New Jersey, Ed Place was involved with coaching a youth football team. It was suggested by a friend that he think about teaching as a career. After he graduated he went back to his alma mater and got his teaching degree. "I highly recommend it," Place said in reference to the school. After spending many years with the Neshaminy School District, he is very involved at the high school. Aside from teaching health and physical education, he is an intramural director and a Gym Night floor crew supervisor at the high school. When he isn't spending time with his two daughters, he is involved in multiple golf and bowling leagues and enjoys weight training. "When you have two daughters, you don't have much time to yourself," Place said. "But I love my girls." Mr. Place loves teaching and believes that productivity is key in the classroom. "Progression is good,". I am looking forward to a great year.
