US History IIMr. Ferrara has taught in Neshaminy School District since 1996, and spent two years teaching elsewhere before that. "I can't possibly remember when I didn't want to teach," Ferrara said. Mr. Ferrara teaches Western History 10, and American History 11. Mr. Ferrara received his degree in social studies at the College of New Jersey. He has completed, and earned, a Masters of Education degree from Arcadia University. Mr. Ferrara also graduated from Neshaminy High School in June of 1987. Before he started teaching, Mr. Ferrara found other ways to make money. Mr.Ferrara was involved in roofing, construction and lawn care, but then he went to college and became a teacher. "I like to work with students," Mr. Ferrara said. Mr.Ferrara never gets bored of his job, and enjoys coming to teach. Mr.Ferrara has other interests besides teaching. "I like to coach football," Ferrara said. Mr.Ferrara is an assistant varsity football coach at Neshaminy High School. Mr.Ferrara likes to see students succeed in their work and encourages them to do their best. It is the principles of helping kids learn that puts a smile on Mr. Ferrara's face. Instead of counting down the days until summer or winter vacation, Mr.Ferrara counts down the days until he sees his students again.
