At the PIAA State Championships- David Kneiss placed 19th in the 50 freestyle, lowering the school record to 21.65 and 22nd in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 47.72.At the PIAA District One Championships-The girls' team was represented by Elizabeeth Miller in the 200 free and 100 backDavid Kneiss placed eighth in the 50 yard freestyle in a school record 21.69. David also placed eighth in the 100 yard freestyle with a school record time of 47.60.Other qualifiers include Sadik Canca in the 100 yard Breastroke and the 200 Medley Relay of Kneiss, Canca, John Stay, and Jason Bento.The boys finished 23rd overall in the District.
At this year's SOL Championships-
Senior Elizabeth Miller placed second in the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:00.00 and third in the 100 backstroke.
Other top ten performances included Helen Shekhterman in the 200 and 100 freestyle, Kiara McKenzie in the 100 free, and Janel Pascucci in the 100 Breast.
Junior David Kneiss won the 100 yard Freestyle and placed third in the 200 Freestyle. Junior John Stay placed third in the 100 yard Butterfly.
Other top ten performances included Josh Hartley in the 500 Freestyle, Mike Kalika in the 100 yard Backstroke, and Sadik Sanca in the 100 breast.
At the last Chance Meet- Last night Junior David Kneiss continued to re-write school record books by breaking an 18 year old record in the 100 yard freestyle record with a time of 48.06. In addition, David lowered is 50 yard freestyle time set earlier this year to a 21.92.
