    PIAA State Swimming and Diving Championships
    Steven Keashon was our team's sole representative at this year's championship meet. During Preliminaries, Steven dropped two seconds from his school record time to record the tenth fastest time of the morning (4:36.63*New School Record.) This qualified him for consolation finals. At night he recorded the second fastest time in school history while placing thirteenth in the state! (4:37.26.)  
     
    - District One Swimming and Diving Championships
     
    The 200 Medley Relay team of Steven Keashon, Bobby Winther, Rob Giannini, and David Kneiss broke the school record in a time of 1:40.57. The previous time of 1:40.75 was set in 1977 by Pete Shaffer, Steve Shaffer, J. Wingert, and A. MCole.
     
    Steven Keashon placed fifth overall in the 500 Freestyle, breaking the school record with a 4:38.16. By placing fifth, Steven became the first automatic state qualifier for the team since 2007. Steven also placed eleventh in the 200 Freestyle while breaking his own school record by three seconds (1:44.45.)

    First year diver Kristin Link placed 11th in the 11 dive competition.
     
    Boys Meet-Friday Night-Highlights
     
    Boys 200 Medley relay of Steven Keashon, Bobby Winther, Rob Giannini, and David Kneiss achieved an automatic qualifying time and placed fifth at the meet. This is the first time the boys team has qualified for the district meet since the new restrictions on number of qualifiers has been placed on the meet. 
    Steven Keashon won the 200 Freestyle and place 3rd in the 500 Freestyle. Both times are automatic District qualifying times.
    Rob Giannini placed fifth in the 100 fly and has achieved consideration time for the District One meet.He placed sixth in the 100 back and achieved consideration in this event as well.
     
    Girls Meet-Saturday Morning-Highlights
     
    Elizabeth Miller placed third in the 200 free. This was a district consideration time. She placed fourth in the 100 back. She has already achieved an automatic qualifying time for this event.
    Rebecca Rodriguez won the 50 free. This was an automatic District qualifying time.She also placed second in the 100 free with a district consideration time.
    The best news came in the 200 free when the relay team of Danielle Bizup, Rebecca Rodriguez, Helen Shekhterman, and Elizabeth Miller surprised the field to place second, break our school record and achieve automatic district qualifying time!This is the first time the girls team has qualified for the district meet since the new restrictions on number of qualifiers has been placed on the meet.
