Howler Lit is NHS's own Literary Magazine. The magazine is a community of writers who celebrate literature and who seek the creative prose, poetry, and art (all mediums) of Neshaminy’s students.

    The Howler Mission:

Howler seeks to find a home for art and artist.

We create a community for literary, visual, and performance artists to gather, produce, cultivate, and showcase.

We are a platform for the arts.

Our community seeks to create a home for visual and literary arts in a beautiful print magazine and digital website that all Howler members can be proud of!

Howler seeks to create a home for the performing and the literary arts in community-based readings known as “Late Nites with Howler”

    Important Info:

New members are always welcome! Meetings often include fun writing activities, writing shares, editing, and magazine production.

The club meets every other Wednesday, 2:40 - 4:00, in G215. Sometimes, when events occur or the magazine is close to publishing, then additional meetings may be required.

In essence, Howler is a club for writers, for the lover of words. If you want to learn how to craft your story so it leaves the reader shattered and looking for more - if you want to make your poetry break iron hearts - then do it surrounded by friends. Bring your weird, your loving, your tired and timid words - let Howler Lit be their home!
