Go to www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/Public/home. You will need to register and you will apply for the Child Welfare Portal. Complete all information and process online. Notification can take up to 14 days. - Federal (FBI) Criminal History Record Information. All applicants must have a current FBI fingerprint check. Complete an online application. Requires a credit card. You will be able to print the clearance immediately.
