Discipline
|
The Discipline Committee meets on an as needed basis. The primary function of the committee is to conduct board level hearings for serious discipline matters that call for a student to be heard before the board. |

The various personnel committees coordinate the negotiations for the respective employee groups that fall within their scope of oversight. In addition, as matters arise, these committees also provide opportunity to address topics specific to the various employee groups during the course of the existing agreements. |

Bucks County Tech School Joint Board
|
The Bucks County Technical School Joint Board Committee is comprised of 14 members from the school's six sending school districts (Bensalem, Bristol Borough, Bristol Township, Morrisville, Neshaminy and Pennsbury). Through their service, these school board members provide the month-by-month oversight of the technical school. Two Board members from Neshaminy are elected to serve as members of the Bucks County Tech School Joint Board. This board meets on a monthly basis. |
IU Board

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit is governed by a Board of School Directors. One board member from Neshaminy School District is elected to serve on the Bucks County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors, representing Neshaminy for a three-year term by a resolution voted upon by our board. The IU Board meets on a monthly basis at the BCIU in Doylestown. |
Neshaminy Education Foundation
|
The NEF is an independent, nonprofit, community organization. The Foundation represents the Neshaminy community's pride, commitment, and enthusiasm for its schools. Volunteers, who comprise the Foundation Board work to enhance the education of Neshaminy students. One NSD board member is appointed as a liaison to the Foundation. Financial support for the Foundation is provided through Neshaminy Employee payroll deductions and through generous gifts and donations from individuals and groups as well as through fund-raising activities. The Neshaminy Education Foundation is designed to provide resources to our schools that are not otherwise provided within the school budget or from other sources. The committee typically meets on a monthly basis. |
PSBA

Neshaminy School District is a member of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. One NSD board member is designated as the liaison for the Neshaminy Board of School Directors to this organization. In this capacity, the board member helps to foster a line of communication between PSBA and our district |
