At the November 21 Board Public Meeting, Sean Haines was appointed as the new Assistant to the Superintendent / Director of Educational Operations for Neshaminy School District effective February 22, 2024. Mr. Haines will be replacing Paul Meehan, who is retiring on December 8 after eight years with Neshaminy. In this cabinet-level position, Mr. Haines will be involved with a wide range of day-to-day administrative duties across the district. These include building level appointments, budgeting, enrollment and staff projections, discipline matters, district safety and security protocols and building infrastructure.

Mr. Haines comes to Neshaminy from the Morrisville School District, where he has served as Superintendent since 2021. He started teaching in Morrisville in 2004, served as Dean of Students in 2017 and had been the school district’s middle and senior high school principal since 2017.
