• ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

    Engineering and Technology Education at Maple Point consists of three areas:
    • Communication (Graphic Design & Video Production) 
    • Drafting/Design
    • Production Technology/Power Technology.
    All students in grades six through eight rotate through the three areas to learn about engineering and technology and how it affects their world. 
        
    Engineering and Technology Education stresses problem solving skills and
    creative thinking    .     It is a program that mixes classroom instruction with
    many     hands-on activities.
