In Computer Science Club, students in grades 6-8 will learn computer science by learning how computers work and how to program them to do specific tasks and to even make games.  By exploring the "what" and the "how" behind computers and programming, students will be much more motivated to expand their problem-solving skills, work more openly with their peers, and develop deeper critical thinking skills.  Programming languages learned will be based on student interests and current trends in education.  Guest speakers will be invited to the club in areas of student interest as well.
