Mr. Robert W. Crozier, MS

I am excited to begin my tenth year serving students in the Neshaminy School District. I look forward to continue working with your seventh grade student. Before arriving at Maple Point, I was the school counselor at Pearl S. Buck Elementary School for seven years. Prior to Neshaminy, I held interim school counselor positions with the Bristol Borough School District, Bristol Township School District and Souderton Area School District. In addition to these roles, I also served as a school counselor/assessment coordinator at Holy Family Institute, a private alternative school for children considered at-risk in the educational system.

My theoretical orientation to counseling is cognitive behavioral therapy. While school practitioners like myself can't provide therapy in the school setting, CBT is a framework that analyzes student behavior by looking at the thought processes of children. I apply this philosophy in the counseling setting. For reasons of practicality and application, I also integrate a solution-focused approach while providing individual counseling. In short, I am passionate about working with children, identifying student need and developing programming to ensure student success.

Beyond the school counseling role, I have coached middle school baseball, provided strength and conditioning instruction to high school athletes and supported students in various co-curricular roles. I'm married and have two young children.
