Mr. Lever has a couple of great passions in his life: family, the Flyers, and teaching 6th-grade social studies.
My first passion is for my wife and family. I met my beautiful wife in high school (she went to Pennsbury and I attended Council Rock North). We have three beautiful children. We all love the Percy Jackson and the Olympian novels, rockin' out to U2, and watching movies while eating pizza from Roman Delight, .
My second passion is for the Philadelphia Flyers.  They break my heart each year so we can skip this passion for now.  You can help me keep track of their drive for the Cup this school year!
My third passion is the profession of teaching. I received my Bachelors Degree in Education from Bloomsburg University and went on to earn my Masters Degree in Education from Gratz College. My Masters thesis was titled "Walking together on the road to success: the effects of cooperative learning strategies on inclusion students." This is my 28th year as an educator (26 at Maple Point - 1 at Carl Sandburg - 1 at Holland Middle School).
I am fortunate to work with children every day of my life. My dad always said, "Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life."

Who loves to grow/learn, fears heights, rejects brussel sprouts

Who would like to see his children's wildest dreams come true, his students reach their potential, and the finish line at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

    Tri Icon
    Philly Bike
After competing collegiately for Bloomsburg University in the sport of swimming, I dove into the sport of triathlon. Triathlon is a sport which calls for competitors to complete a swim, bike, and run course all in the same race. Finishing the Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run), earning All-American honors from the USAT, and gaining sponsorship from Cyclesports Bike Shop in Doylestown have been my biggest athletic accomplishments.
