Mrs. Kane graduated from La Salle University with a dual teaching degree in both Elementary and Special Education.  She has been working in the Neshaminy School District since 1994.

Mrs. Kane has been at Maple Point since 1994.  While attending La Salle University, she did her second semester of student teaching at Neshaminy High School where she fell in love and became infected with the Neshaminy sense of pride and spirit.  Upon graduating in 1991 she briefly worked at St. Vincent Orphanage in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.  Since her heart was still in Neshaminy, she left St. Vincent in 1993 to become a substitute teacher in the district.  Her dreams of one day becoming part of the Neshaminy family came true when she was granted a position at Maple Point Middle School teaching Learning Support in 8th grade.   In 2007, she received the exciting news that she would be moving to the 7th grade.  She enjoyed her time in 7th grade for 7 years.  In 2015, she joined the 6th grade.  She is looking forward to having a wonderful time with this new endeavor.

Mrs. Kane has been married for 32 years to her wonderful husband, Bill.  She has three fantastic children; Liam - 27, Colin - 23 and Maggie - 17.  She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children play soccer, reading, going to the shore and being with friends.

She is looking forward to having another successful and rewarding year!
