SCHOOL-WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS AND SUPPORTS (SWPBIS)
School-Wide Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (SWPBIS) is an evidence-based framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. Maple Point Middle School uses the MP3 slogan to teach expected positive behaviors of being Responsible, Respectful, and Safe. Students receive a digital MP3 Ticket when they are observed demonstrating the expected behavior(s). Their MP3 Ticket is filled out and placed on the Principal's 200 Board. Once a full horizontal or vertical row is filled, winning tickets are pulled from that line to receive a reward. At the end of each marking period, there is a school-wide reward for all students who received an MP3 Ticket and no ODRs (Discipline Referrals).
