Kindergarten Registration
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year opens on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Families with a student who is entering kindergarten at Neshaminy can begin the process by visiting the registration website, www.neshaminy.org/register.

Food Services Update
Lunch prices for the 2022-2023 school year can be found here. Information and application materials for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program can be found here. Families must apply for this program each school year to maintain eligibility.
Irene Boyle Senior Tax Assistance Program

Here Comes the Bus App
The free Here Comes the Bus app is now available for the entire District. You can track your student's bus using up-to-the-minute GPS data using the app, which is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be accessed on the web here.

Student Accident Insurance
Neshaminy does not carry medical insurance for students, but we are pleased to offer an optional low-cost group plan for those families that desire extra coverage. Click here for more information about this plan and how to register.

1:1 Technology Information
NEW students coming to Neshaminy and Kindergarten students will receive a new Chromebook device. There is no technology fee. NESHAMINY HIGH SCHOOL COLOR GUARD
The Neshaminy High School Color Guard is seeking new members for the 2023-2024 season to perform with the award winning Neshaminy High School Marching Band. The Color Guard is the most visual section of the marching band, performing choreography with dance, flags, rifles and sabres to compliment the marching band show. No previous experience is necessary as all skills required will be taught during the clinic sessions. Interested students in grades 8-11 can attend sessions on March 21.28; April 11; May 5, 12 and 19. All sessions are 6PM to 8PM. Students should meet at the NHS auditorium. Come out to see what Guard is all about. Contact Mr. Lipton in the NHS music department with questions or for more information.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention Ladies! Softball tryouts will begin on Tuesday, March 21st on the softball field. Coach Brown and Coach Smicherko are looking forward to a great season. If you would like to try out and you are in 7th or 8th grade, please stop by room 116 or 218 to sign up and pick up some paperwork. Remember that you must have a PIAA physical exam completed before trying out Again, tryouts will begin Tuesday, March 21st. For try outs you will need a glove, and cleats would be recommended. Pitchers and catchers will have a session in the gym on Wednesday, March 15th from 3PM to 4PM. Make sure to bring your catchers equipment and sneakers. See Coach Brown or Coach Smicherko if you have any questions.
Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing Baseball this year for Poquessing - tryouts will begin TUESDAY March 21st after school from 3PM to 5 PM. All participants who come to try-outs MUST have a PIAA Physical Form turned in in order to try out. Please come to try-outs with a glove, hat, cleats and a bat if you have one. We will have an informational meeting during WIN in the GYM on Wednesday, March 15th. Please complete the Google Form on the Pulse announcement before you attend the WIN meeting, or if you are unable to attend. If you have any questions, please see Coach Palkovics, Coach Norton or Coach Salmi.
Attention students who want to participate in Spring Track. Please see Coach Erbe or Coach Zampirri to get your name down and hand in your filled out physical forms. We will have a meeting after school on Monday, 3/20, in the gym. Be prepared to go over information and do a light workout and stretching.

All students are invited to participate in Interact's first ever March Madness Free Throw Competition. We are going to have a winner in each grade and then a school champion! See Mr. Barnes in room 109 for more information.

ATHLETICS: Sports Physicals
Seventh(7th) and eighth(8th) grade students are permitted to tryout for sports(fall, winter and spring). ALL althletes MUST have a current physical BEFORE he/she may tryout! Complete the entire form below. The physical must be dated no earlier than June 1, 2022. The physician completes page 6.

ATHLETICS: FAMILYID
Poquessing Middle School is now using FamilyID as our sports registraton program! When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. Please follow the instructions below to register your student athlete. Please have your athlete hand the original physical to their Coach or Mr. Salmi. We will NOT accept an email version.
You must log into FamilyID and fill out appropriate sections to be able to participate in a sport. Each sport season it must be updated with the new sport your athlete is playing.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link:

Follow these steps:
- To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
- Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
- Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
- You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
- Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
- Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
- Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
- Review your registration summary.

WORKING PAPERS
Working papers are typically issued from 8:30AM - 11:30AM and from 1:30PM - 2:30PM. Please call 215-809-6215 for an available time slot before arriving at the school.

POQUESSING FOOD PANTRY
The Poquessing Food Pantry is currently open and accepting donations. Gift Cards are the most useful. Increments should be $25 or less. The following physical items are always appreciated: peanut butter, jelly, snack/breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, pancacke mix, pancake syrup, rice, macaroni and cheese, ketchup/mustard, fruit cups/cans, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snack items, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dental floss and mouth wash. Families in need of supplemental assistance may reach out to Mr. Hunt directly at THunt@neshaminy.org. All requests are strictly confidential.
