Course Selection for Rising 8th Graders
Course selection is a process that starts after winter break in 8th grade--announcements and information will be visible in school, on Canvas, and in parent communications shortly after the break.
In planning for 9th grade course selection, please review the documents provided by the Neshaminy High School Counseling Office. The course catalog, in-school student presentation, and parent/student night at NHS are valuable resources in preparing for course selection. Information covered in the course catalog includes:
~ College admission requirements
~ NHS graduation requirements
~ Grade point average and our grading system
~ NCAA eligibility requirements
~ 7th major
~ Information about academic enrichment and learning support programs
The bulk of the book is dedicated to describing each course that is offered at Neshaminy High School.
