Mrs. Troxell has been teaching art for over 25 years.  Her experience has been both in the private and public sector, rural and suburban, and K-12.  Mrs. Troxell earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Art History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has taken many graduate level courses throughout her career.

Mrs. Troxell has presented a variety of workshops in the District, at regional workshops and at state Pennsylvania Art Education Association (PAEA) conferences.  She also serves on the board of PAEA as the Region 11 (Montgomery and Bucks counties) Co-Representative.  When time permits, Mrs. Troxell enjoys landscape painting in acrylics and creating jewelry with PMC (Precious Metal Clay) and working in her studio at the Langhorne Farm.

Faithful walking partner, Tucker (the family dog) eagerly awaits Mrs. Troxell's return from school every day for their daily walk.  As a member of the Abington Choral Club, Philomusica Chorale and Willow Grove United Methodist Handbell Choir and Chancel Choir, Mrs. Troxell keeps her evenings busy with rehearsals throughout the week.   Daughter, Alissa graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sports Management and son Tyler is a Junior at Temple University majoring in Horticulture and husband Bob is in Sales/Accounting with Stroehmann Bakeries Inc.
