Service Learning Club
The Service Learning Club is designed to empower students and teach them how to collaboratively solve complex problems in society.Albert Schweitzer Elementary started a Service Learning Club in 2012. The students gather weekly to brainstorm ideas in how to help the school and the local community. Through their ingenuity and insight, the club has raised money and funded projects to help the homeless, the elderly, animals at the local shelter, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to name a few. The club hosts fundraisers monthly to support their efforts.
