    What Does a Social Scientist Study?

     - The science of social behavior

    - Much of what you hear about human behavior is really people exchanging myths and misunderstandings

    - Why individuals, groups, and societies act the way they do is quite complex

    - The social scientific way of seeing the world offers us new perspectives

     

    Social Scientists

    Economist: studies the way people in a community use resources to meet their needs and wants.

    Geographer: studies the natural and human features of the Earth's surface, and its climate and life-forms.

    Political scientist: studies government.

    Historian: studies the past.

    Economy: the way people in a community use resources to meet their needs and wants.
