When it comes to educating your child, I need your help. We are in this together. We are a team. We are partners. Please know that there is plenty of research pertaining to parent involvement in the education of their child. According to the American Psychological Association, when parents are involved, students are more likely to have better social skills, adapt well to school, have better behaviors, and more likely to have higher grades and test scores. Success will not come easy and it will require a lot of work by you and me - but know that the rewards are too great not to get involved. Your precious gift will be in my care and by collaborating with one another, we can come up with a plan to identify needs and goals, and know that I will listen to your concerns and explain more about your child's education while your precious gift is in my care.
