    the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001

The Sandburg Social Studies department has organized a special program in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.  The title of our program is "Tragedy Creates Unity."   The program will be in the Sandburg Auditorium on Friday, September 10, 2021, and will start at 9:00 A.M. and conclude at 10:00 A.M.  The program will briefly reflect on the tragic events of the day, the efforts of Americans as they united together to help the victims, their families, and the communities affected, and finally, opportunities for students, staff, and community members to participate in helping our local community.  U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick and PA Representative Frank Farry are two of the guest speakers for this program.  Neshaminy Superintendent, Dr. Rob McGee, and Sheri Ratner, a representative from the United Way, will share opportunities for community service.
