Mrs. Millevoi
Hello! My name is Mrs. Monica Millevoi, and I am excited about another school year at Tawanka Elementary School. I received my bachelor's degrees in elementary and special education from Holy Family University in 1993 and earned my master's degree in counseling at West Chester University in 1999. My career in the Neshaminy School District began in 1993. Classes that I have taught include Primary Life Skills (Albert Schweitzer Elementary), Academic Enrichment (Walter S. Miller Elementary), fifth grade (Walter S. Miller Elementary), third grade (Oliver Heckman Elementary), and my current position teaching third grade at Tawanka Elementary School. I led the Reading Olympics Program for 4 years at Walter Miller and facilitated the fourth-grade Tawanka Service Club, which promoted social-emotional learning and fostered citizenship in the school. From 1994-2002, I was the color guard instructor for the Neshaminy HS Marching Band. In 2019, I cofounded the SUNset Challenge, a district wide race which promotes healthy life choices. I have been fortunate enough to have taught a variety of classes and have been involved with many co-curricular activities, each with its own fantastic, challenging attributes.
