  •  Title 1 Parent and Family Engagement

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Neshaminy School District is committed to providing our students with the best education possible. The elementary school your child(ren) currently attends receives Title I federal funding. Title I provides funding to districts for improving the Academic Achievement of students that have disadvantages. This funding allows our district to provide supplementary reading and or math support. Title I requires that schools seek parent input as well as provide parent and family engagement activities. We would like your input in developing, for each school, parent and family engagement activities that promote student learning and that, strengthen home-school connections.

If you have not already completed the survey, please help us plan by taking a few minutes to answer the 10 item survey using the below link. This information will be used to help us develop parent and family engagement activities throughout the school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your building representatives and or Michelle Burkholder, Director of Elementary Education, mburkholder@neshaminy.org .

  • Volunteer information (new procedures)

All school volunteers must complete background checks to ensure the safety of our students and comply with Pennsylvania law. For new volunteers this process can take 2-4 weeks, so we encourage all potential volunteers to complete this process in advance to avoid being left out of field trips or in-school volunteer activities. Please visit the Neshaminy volunteer web page for more information on this process.
