    Specialized Learning Support K,1,2

I am super excited to be embarking on my ninth year teaching special education at Albert Schweitzer Elementary School.  I have previously taught at Poquessing and Sandburg Middle Schools and Heckman Elementary in Neshaminy as well as Churchville and Maureen Welch Elementary schools in Council Rock School District.
My husband and I have three children, all graduates of Neshaminy High School; Robert, a graduate of Temple University, works in social services;  Zachary attends an habilitation day program for adults with
Autism; and our youngest child, Lexi, a graduate of American University, works for a non-profit.
Teaching is my second career; I decided to become a teacher 18 years ago after becoming more involved and invested in my son Zach's programming and education. I graduated summa cum laude from Holy Family University with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education.  I earned my Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Reading from Cabrini College. Additionally, I hold a certificate in Middle School English.
I am thrilled to work with you and your child this year.  There is so much we will learn and discover together.
