Snacks & Birthdays
Students will be given time in the morning to eat breakfast. Our lunch is at 11:45 so time will be given each afternoon for eating a healthy snack. The snack must be consumed in a short time while the students are working. Please help your child make a healthy daily choice. Children are not to share snacks or lunches at school.
Here are some examples of healthy snacks: fruit, crackers, yogurt, pretzels, or fruit snacks
Please do not send in: cookies, cupcakes, or candy (I will ask children to put these away until they get home)
I know birthdays are a special day for the birthday child. However, as per school/district policy, we shall not be sharing food as a birthday treat. Parents may send in non-edible treats to share with the class like pencils, erasers, stickers, etc.
