Raz Kids
This creative program allows children to either read books or listen to books. When a book is completed the child earns points that can be redeemed in the Raz Rocket store. The program was first implemented last year at Ferderbar. Information regarding user names and passwords were given out at Back to School night. -

A website that provides printables, games, & stories for students of all ages.

A place where children have fun learning to read. The website offers activities in letter recognition, letter sounds, phonics strategies, and reading.

Story Line Online
A fun website that has famous actors/actresses reading popular books aloud to children. Children enjoy hearing the book read, view illustrations, and see the words to the story.

An educational kid safe site that promotes storytelling. Included poetry, puzzles, activities and other educational games. -
Superkids
This website provides language arts materials the students are learning in first grade. A great site to visit if your child needs more practice with phonics skills, rereading Superkid stories, or if they would like to play online games. If you provided your e-mail address to your child's teacher, then you should have received an e-mail with directions on how to set up an account. -
Think Central
Math website where you can access first grade math materials your child will be learning in class. Parents are able to access the student math book, student workbook, and virtual manipulatives. This site definitely comes in handy if your child forgets their homework or needs more practice in a certain area. Please do not use this website for going ahead with math concepts. Information and passwords were given out at Back to School Night.
