    Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Miss Bridget Moore and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher. I love being a member of the Neshaminy Community! This is my sixth year at Tawanka, and my ninth year teaching. Prior to coming to Neshaminy, I taught PreK in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I graduated from Holy Family University in 2016 where I earned my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I continued my education at St. Joseph's University, where I earned my Master's in Instructional Technology in 2019. I consider myself a lifelong learner and have also completed graduate courses/studies in the areas of Social Emotional Learning, Classroom Management, and Literacy Instruction. I am certified in PA in the following areas: PreK-4, Special Education PreK-8, and Instructional Technology K-12. I love teaching and learning, and am so excited to pass that love onto your young children.

When I'm not teaching and learning, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. My favorite place to go is the beach! However, my most favorite thing is being a mama! In April, I gave birth to my first daughter, Juliana Grace! I spent the end of last year home with her, and am thrilled to be able to spend the fall with her as well. I will return to the classroom the first week of December and look forward to meeting you all, and getting to know your little loves then. Mrs. Heather Kimber will be the long-term sub for September-November. Until my return, you may reach her at hkimber@neshaminy.org.

I am so excited to grow, learn, and explore with your child in Kindergarten. Should you need to contact me for any reason, the best place to reach me is via email: bmoore@neshaminy.org.

    Happy Learning!

    Miss Moore
