Ms. Klause

Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! :)

My name is Ms. Klause and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this school year. This is my 6th year teaching, and my 2nd as a Hoover Hawk! I am very passionate about teaching students with special abilities and I am very excited to see what we can achieve together.

I am a proud Neshaminy graduate and still live within the district! I attended Kutztown University where I studied Special Education and Middle Level English. After I graduated from Kutztown, I worked as an instructional aide at Pearl Buck for one year. I then accepted my first teaching position at a charter school in Philadelphia where I taught learning support for four years. During the summers, I have worked for the Bucks County IU ESY in a variety of classroom settings such as AS, ES and Social Skills.

I am the oldest of three sisters, and we’re each a year a part! I foster kittens and have two adopted cats (Peanut and Linus). I love spending time at my family’s beach house in Cape May. We go kayaking, bike riding, and to the boardwalk. I love to travel and I have been to eight different countries! During the summers of 2015 and 2017, I traveled to Ghana and taught in an orphanage for two months. I hope to continue to travel and make my way around the globe!

I look forward to a great school year with you all!
