Welcome to Miss Goodwin's Class
Welcome to A5! My name is Olivia Goodwin and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year. I graduated from La Salle University in 2018. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and American Studies. I received my teaching certification from Pennsylvania in Elementary PreK-4 and Special Education K-8. I strive to create a comfortable, student-centered learning environment in which all children can learn and become a lifelong learner. Within our classroom, I utilize a hands-on approach to learning. When you walk into A5, you will not see children sitting at their desks for a long period of time. Children will be actively engaged in learning centers, meeting in small groups with me, and utilizing technology.
On a personal note, I got married last year to my husband, Dan Zickler, who is also a teacher in the district. I am one of five (the only girl) and now an Aunt to my nieces Julia and Laurel and nephews Eddie, Oliver, and Holden. I love to run, spend time with my family and friends, and try new restaurants.
