Subject/Grade: K-12
     Health and Physical Education

I am excited for another amazing year teaching physical education at Maple Point.
Prior to Maple Point, I was a health and physical education teacher at Neshaminy High School for 7 years and Hoover Elementary for 4 years.
I attended Penn State University and Graduated with a BS in Kinesiology and a Minor in Education.  I continued my education pursuing my master's degree in Education at Holy Family University. I also am working towards my supervisor of curriculum and instruction certification as well as my Principal Certification. I feel that as educators we must continue to learn and become well versed in teacher best practices. I incorporate technology in my classless and implement the latest in teaching strategies. In 2015 I was awarded the PSAPERD southeastern district Teacher of the year award.
As a mother of three young children, I understand how important a positive school experience is and will provide a fun, active, and knowledgeable learning experience for your child.
