    Welcome to First Grade, at Herbert Hoover Elementary School, in the Neshaminy School District. 
     
    My name is Sue Kucuk, and I am excited about being your child's teacher for the 2019- 2020  school year.
     
    I am looking forward to meeting you, and getting to know about you as well.  Until then, here is some information about me :
     
    - My teaching career began by teaching in Kindergarten for a couple of years, and then in 1st Grade for two years.  I then spent a number of years teaching in 4th Grade, followed by 2nd Grade,
    and I've been in 1st Grade the past two years.  Unfortunately, due to a major foot injury I was out for a number of months last year. I am thrilled that it looks like my foot will make a full recovery, and without any surgery needed.  I have the best 1st Grade helpers in times of need...and in general!
    - I am very proud to be a member of the Hoover team of teachers, Hoover community, and also a member of the Neshaminy School District team and community.
