Hi everyone!

My name is Mrs. Moskat and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade again at Tawanka Elementary! This will be my 9th year teaching. I got my Bachelor's Degree in 2016 from Slippery Rock University in Early Childhood Education PreK-4 and Special Education K-8. After I graduated, I taught 1st grade in Stafford, Virginia for 4 years. In May of 2020, my husband and I moved to Philadelphia. I taught for 2 years in Philadelphia. During those 2 years, I taught kindergarten and 1st grade. I recently graduated from American College of Education and received my Master's in STEM Education.

Fun facts about me:

-I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

-I have 1 dog (Riley) and 1 cat (Cheddar)

-My favorite sport to watch is ice hockey

-I love baking cookies
