Who is Mrs. Slivak?
Hello and welcome! I'm Jessica Slivak, a Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Central High School in Philadelphia in 1992, and received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Sciences and Linguistics from Temple University in 1997. I then earned a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language-Hearing from Temple in 1999.I completed my Clinical Fellowship Year at Woods Services in Langhorne, where I worked with teenagers with developmental disabilities. After ten months there, I was ready for a change and was hired by the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, where I remain to this day. I worked in several schools in Pennsbury School District before moving to my current placements at Albert Schweitzer in 2001, and Walter Miller in 2002.
When I'm not in school, I'm busy spending time with my husband and three children in our house in Northeast Philadelphia. We love reading, visiting new places, spending time with family and friends, and vacationing in Walt Disney World!
