     HMH Into Reading

          

    Into Reading includes high quality texts that are the focus of student's reading, writing, speaking, listening and language arts practice.  Children are given opportunities to develop these skills throughout the school year.  The units are organized to support content knowledge, increase vocabulary and include implementation to help children be successful.

         
    Children will participate in whole and small group instruction, read aloud, shared, partner, choral and silent reading.  They will work on fluency, vocabulary, phonics and phonemic awareness segmentation. 
     
    Iready, "My Path" will also  be used to meet the needs of each individual student.
