     My name is Kathi Walter and I have been teaching at Herbert Hoover Elementary School since 1996.  I began my teaching career as a special education teacher and worked with many different grade levels.  In 2004 I began teaching first grade as a regular education teacher.  I love working with the first grade students at Hoover Elementary.
